We Need to do Better for the Kids

Today was a great day because I spent it speaking to kids and teaching frisbee. The kids were in Kindergarten to Grade 6 including a class with autistic students. I gave my Unplugg’d challenge during the morning assembly and there were at least 40 students who raised their hands and committee to going one day without video games, Netflix, Youtube or television. I’m definitely excited to see how many actually take the challenge!

After I spoke at the school, I got some frisbee on ice training in at Hawrelak Park and only dropped one throw! Everything is really coming together and I cannot wait to break my records on February 11 at the Silver Skate Festival!
