One of my closest and most special friends, Tita Ugalde, read The Davy Rule to her class of 7 year olds in May 2016. She sent me some pictures and was finally able to send me all of the letters from her class to Davy and I, asking questions and sharing how they felt about our book, frisbee, and what Davy and I do. It has been a difficult few months but receiving these letters make my decision to pursue frisbee and speaking to kids worth it! In the post below, I will share each letter along with what my response would be to each kid. I hope to visit LA soon and meet these special kids and also see my friend Tita again. Dear Danny: Thank you for the drawing! Your brown and green frisbee is really cool and it looks like a good throw! I’m glad you like the book and that you like Davy. I like Davy too 🙂 If you get a dog like Davy, you will have to be patient because although Whippets love to chase, they don’t always bring the frisbee back to you!

Dear Emilianos: Thank you for the awesome drawing! I love how much detail you put into Davy’s paws and face 🙂 You’re right, Davy runs fast! Whippets are the second fastest dog in the world. Greyhounds are the fastest. Davy is actually owned by my friend but he lives with me most of the time. Davy and I are best friends 🙂 I have 6 Guinness World Records and 2 of those records are with Davy! I am going to set more records though!

Davy is really fast and sometimes he doesn’t catch because he is so fast! But I agree with you, it’s fun to watch him catch because he runs so fast. I’m glad you liked my book.
