Frisbee on Ice Fun With a Yeti Costume

Children must be taught how to think, not what to think.

I’ve been training for my February 14, 2015 attempt of 3 Guinness World Records on Ice for Self Caught Flight with a Frisbee everyday at Bowness Lagoon in Calgary, Alberta. I see lots of kids and many of them will ask me what I’m doing but after watching a few throws, they go back to doing their own thing on the ice.

However, two weeks ago, I decided to have a little fun during my training session, so I put on the Yeti suit sent to me by Savage Ultimate, which is their official mascot. To my surprise, as soon as I was suited up, a group of kids immediately came over to see what I was doing. One a few of them had skates on – the others were wearing boots – but they were so curious they had to come see.

It was so much fun and as you’ll see in the video below, I did get in some training but the best part of the day was hanging out with the kids having fun with them. All of them walked away with a frisbee and a postcard so I hope someday I’ll see them out throwing one of their frisbees!

It’s truly amazing seeing the look on kids faces when they see something for the first time. With frisbee, that happens a lot because not a lot of kids know about it. Frisbee is fun for all ages. That’s why we call it the Ageless Game (www.agelessgame.com). It’s great for your employees, your friends and your family to get together, have some fun and get some exercise.

Frisbee is the perfect union between man’s greatest tool, his hand, with his greatest dream, to fly.

If you ever have questions about frisbee, if you want to order some custom stamped frisbees (100 for $350) or if you have any videos or pictures to share, I would love to hear from you!

Stay tuned for results next week after my attempts on February 14 at the Silver Skate Festival in Edmonton, Alberta. I will be sending out an email with the results and some images/video from the event once I have it!

Thanks for your support 🙂
